Five years ago, Bowie Mayor Fred Robinson launched an attack on The C&C Dance Company - where America Dances!
The Bowie City Activist stood up for liberty, freedom and the right of Bowie's children to dance at the C&C Dance Company - located at the non-tech Center now known as Melford. Fred Robinson paid the political price for his stupidity of spending city tax money to attack C&C Dance when Ingrid Turner defeated Robinson for County Council in 2006 by 48 votes.
Now, five years later, the C&C Dance Company has been officially saved! Even if his life depended on it, the moron Robinson couldn't do what the owners of the C&C Dance Company do every day - run a small business profitably serving 1,000+ customers. The Marxist Robinson believes the people exist to serve him. The Bowie City Activist believes government exists to serve the people.
Unelected City head David Deutsch is quoted as saying he wants a new City Hall building "so people will take the City seriously". With City Hall clowns David Deutsch and Fred Robinson, a change in City Hall buildings won't change the lack of respect the City receives from citizens when Robinson does stupid things like spending tax money attacking a reputable dance company that half the kids in Bowie have attended at one time or another.
Now we learn our Bowie City elections are a joke. There is no independent board of elections supervisors, election results are secretly counted behind closed doors, and the City Clerk responsible for administering City Elections openly makes political contributions to Fred Robinson's political campaigns while administering City elections involving Fred Robinson.
Doesn't this sound like the City is run by amateurs?
It sure does to me. Until we change the people starting with a new City Manager for Bowie, a new City Hall building will not bring any more respect to the City.
Let's relish in our win over Marxist Robinson tyranny. We saved the C&C Dance Company from the moron Robinson's attack! It was a local win for freedom and liberty.
